Horrible. Rude. Inefficient. Equal to being assessed by a computer. This is what is wrong with heath care.
My daughter was seen last Monday November, 13th because she wasn't feeling well and was running a temperature. The female NP was very nice and said that she didn't really see anything, but if the symptoms returned, we could call back and she (or someone else) would write us a prescription for Z pack - no problem. Well, on Saturday November the 19th, her symptoms returned. My wife called and talked to a younger MALE NP, and asked for a him to write us a prescription for Z pack. She even explained the entire deal to him. He was immediately RUDE and said that first off he was not going to do that and wanted us to bring her in and he would prescribe amoxicillin. My wife, yet again told him that she is allergic to amoxicillin. And once again, he was very rude and starting yelling that that was all he was going to provide for her. So my wife again stated that she is allergic to amoxicillin. He said that then we better "go somewhere else!!" And then he began yelling again and said that he was done with this conversation and HUNG UP ON MY WIFE!! We have been going there for years, now we will never return. However, I will find out what his name is, and I will get a hold of his Boss! He obviously has no reason to be in the position he's in !! Totally unprofessional and uncalled for. So I highly recommend for nobody to go see him!! Unless you like dealing with a outrageous jerk!
I politely declined. We went to the Kroger clinic on a walk-in basis where we were greeted and checked in by a nurse, taken immediately to the exam room, and finished within 30 minutes, all covered by our voucher.
Went to the clinic there and the docter was really nice didnt try to gauge me for money insted saved me momey by not doimg a test that cost 140 because she alreadt knew what i had and made me an offer inplace of the test . I have the flu and the medicin for that is expensive for someone who doesnt have insurence almost the same price of the test so insted of paying 140 for a test that will tell me what i have she already knew and was strate up about cost of meds so i used the 140 tords medicin i needed still alot of money but think about it. I have no insurence the bisit was 100 the meds all together was 166 and i saved 149 i will alwasy go to that clinic ! Varry honest docter she didnt have to help me save money she coyld if just dome what shes there t o do and what other clinics do charge charge charge
After checking in and waiting 20 minutes past appointment time, we went into the exam room where they told me they no longer honor our health insurance vouchers with the Walgreens logo all over it because the clinics have been contracted out. Instead of a free comprehensive exam, they offered to let me run my insurance card with a copay to continue the exam.
Arrived early to an electronic check in process. After putting in my name and birthday, the screen asked me to verify my information and displayed another patients address and phone number. Massive breach of trust there.
