She is absolutely AMAZING!! Both of my children have gone to her since they were born (almost 8 years now) and we have never had a bad experience there. Of course like anywhere occasionally you a little longer wait times depending on the day, but nothing outrageous or intolerable. Even when my kids are sick and we have to request a same day visit we always get in, even if it has to be with one of her partners. The nurses are all amazing and so is the office staff! I would recommend this office to anyone!!!!
I used to like Dr. Murray. My wife and I have used her for several years now and she was great at the beginning. As of a few years back to now they scheduling here is just stupid. I had a serious complication with a growth in my neck last year and she couldn't even see me. I had to be seen by some other doctor in her practice because this growth was causing me so much pain. He, in my opinion, was incompetent and no real help until the growth was so big I was referred to a specialist. Never once did I see Dr. Murray through the ordeal.
She is a great doctor with a great bedside manner
Another instance my wife had an appointment and needed to be seen for some pain and she ended up getting a new job so she was unable to keep her scheduled appointment. She then called to reschedule it like a responsible person and she was told she had to wait 3-4 months to be seen. So she goes in today for her SCHEDULED appointment at 8 and is made to wait past her scheduled time.
In the end I am going to find a more family friendly doctor that does better on scheduling. It doesn't help that they are part of IU.
This office double and triples books their patients and I would not recommend this office to anyone. You can't be seen in a timely manner ever, even if you have a serious complication. Scheduling a check up and being told to wait 2-3 weeks is one thing, but when you have a serious ailment you should be able to get in at least within a day maybe 2 at the most.
