I definitely will not be going back to Cadwell's Corner and will tell others to steer clear of them because of their crooked practices.
These are great people who do really good work at a fair price!
I had an oil leak in my aging civic. The dealer was going to charge me over $500 to replace the oil pan and do some other work. Dusty gave me my full range of options with the risk/benefits associated with each. He ended up plugging the leak and it only cost me $80! Felt very educated in the process. Definitely appreciated the service. I will be back.
I have been going there for years. They have always been honest and reasonably priced. They have even not charged me for small things on two occasions.

Being that I didn't want to fork out the $450 to fix it this week, I went home and searched YouTube to see how hard it would be to do it myself. Turns out, not much work at all. I decided to just try to take a look at it first to see what I was really getting myself into.
I removed the kick plate and found the resistor and blower motor right there. I unplugged the resistor and removed the two screws from it. Upon doing so, I realized that they had cut the two wires running between the resistor and the blower motor! There is a quick connect/disconnect for this on the blower motor! Those wires should not have been cut at all and I (a woman) could have cut them better than they had. Because of the horrible job, I had to cut out the area they had botched up and splice with a new piece of wire. After splicing the wires, I put everything back together and guess what...it worked just as it had before!
I took my 04 Suburban to have it looked at because the blower would come on after 5-10 minutes of driving or sometimes if I plugged something into one of the auxiliary plugs. I didn't ask if there was a charge for an estimate from the start (should have done that, but I chalk that one up to a lesson learned). Anyway, they charged me $40.** for the estimate and said that it would cost $450 to fix it and, oh by the way, your blower won't work, you won't have heat. (It's January...the high is in the 20's). I left. It was working when I brought it to them, it should have worked when I left so needless to say I was a little perturbed at that point.
