Main courses were pretty good but the side dishes could use some work. Soggy/limp veggies abound. For the price, it's a pretty solid choice. Our steaks were pretty tender and actually came out medium rare. This was my first experience here so I can't say for sure they usually get it right, but they did at least this time.
First time here....I was seated quickly and the service was phenomenal. My server Alexandria was exxeptional, she made great food recommendations. I will be back! I hope Alexandria is working when I return.
We went to Cheddar's last evening. the food was good, but no one could hear anyone else the muzak was so loud. I was with friends and would like to have had a conversation but unless we shouted that was impossible. I brought my own Gluten free bread, but they put mayonnaise on my sandwich after I asked for none and as it was not on my diet I only ate the innards rather than go home and get more wheat free bread. All in all not an experience I want to repeat. Also, most of us kept out coats on as the place was FREEZING.
We went to Cheddar's with a group after church. They had plenty of seating and our waitress, Deb C, was simply outstanding. The menu has a wide variety of items to pick from which makes it great for groups. Everyone can find something they like. The quality and portion size was excellent. You definitely don't leave hungry. One of my favorites is onion rings. I don't know what it is, but most places charge a lot for them and give you very few. I tried their appetizer portion which was enough for the 5 in our group and reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit.
It was my first here and my boyfriend second time here. My food was good because they had to re make it because my boyfriend steak was taking a long time. Now the only problem was that he asked for his steak " well done" it was dark pink so the waitress takes his steak on a plate BACK TO THE KITCHEN AND RE COOKED HIS STEAK. Now I'm confused because what happened to bring a new steak out. So as they bring the steak back the same steak was again dark pink lol. Now third times the charm we had a " well done steak". Now the manager did give him the steak on him. I just never heard of taking the steak back too the kitchen and re -cooking it.
