Our son has been in the Avon Goddard school since he was an infant. I'm including my parting letter to them as my review:
They are so caring when it comes to the overall child! My son loves getting to see and experience new things and without Goddard that wouldn't be possible. Magic shows are one of his personal favorites! He also tells me all about the garden and fire drills. Which might seem mundane but it means they are trained for emergencies and my son gets to see how vegetables are made. He learns how to interact with his peers through positive reinforcement! He always has something to tell me on our way home and when I drop him off to go to work. I have peace of mind that he is not just safe but enjoying himself and learning to love learning! The teachers are always there to talk to me about issues that arise and offer a supportive circle to help raise my child!.

We now are moving away and have struggled to find a daycare center that has made us feel as secure and our children as cared for as Robert and his staff have at Goddard. If you are looking for a childcare facility near Avon, I cannot recommend the Goddard School enough! Robert and his staff have made us feel at home there, and we will miss them dearly when we go!
Our second child had a food allergy that developed later in his second year. The Goddard staff worked with us to address the allergy and take precautions to make sure that our son was accommodated during meal and snack times. Just as with our first son, we can already see so much progress with our second son's learning. The curriculum at Goddard is second to none.
The Goddard School is 100% dedicated to the child!! The staff is professional, approachable, addresses the child directly, listens to concerns, ensures a safe learning environment, and provides a creative exciting learning environment. I am thankful my little girl attended the Goddard School for two years prior to starting Kindergarten as this will definitely give her a solid start with initial learning/skill sets. The graduation ceremony was absolutely breath-taking and all happy! I commend the entire staff at Goddard for sincerely caring and attending to each child's individual physical and emotional well-being. Well done!!! My daughter already misses her teachers and other staff members even including the kitchen crew. Again, a tremendous thank you to the entire staff at the Goddard School.
We have so many wonderful things to say about our son's classroom teachers and the adults who come in contact with him every day. The curriculum is hands-on, engaging, and relevant. The school offers a variety guest speakers/ special programs every month. Additionally, the communication between school and home is excellent. We couldn't be happier with The Goddard School in Avon.
Thank you so much for all the wonderful years you have given to our son. It has been comforting to know he is safe, secure and loved when I can’t be with him. I appreciate all the academic, social and emotional education that each of you shared with our son. You have all helped to make him into the person that he is today! Your kindness will always be remembered.
For the last six years, we have enrolled our children in the Goddard School - Avon. Over the years, we have watched our children grow and flourish under Goddard's daily care. With our first child, we had no idea how to begin potty training. The staff at Goddard walked us through the process and helped us every step of the way, even giving us "homework" to do on the weekends. And it worked wonderfully! When our son began kindergarten, we were nervous about the transition because he was the youngest in his class. We were worried he would not be prepared for the work. But the teachers at Goddard prepared him so well that he actually moved into the most advanced reading and math groups shortly after starting kindergarten. He is now in second grade and continues to be one of the best students in his class.
