Dewanna and her staff are excellent and always go the extra step in handling our insurance needs. Whether it is adding a teen age drive (ugh) or increasing and umbrella liability policy or house insurance she is always available and really looks after our interest. I certainly feel fortunate to have her as my agent and would recommend her to anyone looking for insurance.

I give a two star for a few reasons. And its not for dewanna moonyham, it's for American family insurance. If I give Dewanna moonyham stars-id give her 0 stars. American family would have 5

The morning my water breaks -my husband gets rear ended. What a mess. But he kept calling since 9:02 am. I had kept calling since 8:59 am. The both of us kept calling- I alone made a total of 8 calls in thirty minutes. My husband made about 15 calls. Neither got an answer until 9:34. The reason he called was because wanted to confirm that the policy number on his card was accurate and not wanting to give false information to the police. Side story:ojr policy expired every 6 months. The card he had expired in and we did not receive a new card in July. I posted on Facebook a status of my water breaking and my husband being rear ended. And Shawna had commented about how my husband was verbally abusive and we should find a new insurance.

The Dewanna Mooneyham Agency provides excellent customer service! Dewanna and her staff have always made me feel comfortable and they were willing to explain what each section of my policy covers. Shawna is who I’ve done most of my work with and she remembers me and my family by name every time I call. This is a friendly and professional agency that will go above and beyond to see their clients happy.

We are not leaving American Family. We are staying with them however, we have switched to a different agency.

3. The most recent and one that has pushed my husband and I over.

(( Sorry, but there was no verbal abuse and there was plenty of anger! Why is it taking 34 minutes for two people to get ahold of you? Why don't you send out insurance cards? Why are you commenting on my post and trying to belittle my husband? His wife is in labor and he gets rear ended. That last thing we needed was a headache with insurance. Swear words were given -under the stress.. who can blame him? And also, dewanna told my husband that he was driving illegally because he did not have his insurance card. Another false statement. We have insurance cards. It's expired because she failed to send us new ones in the mail))

I would like to give Dewanna and her lovely staff a 5 star. Not only because they provide excellent service but because they make sure that I am treated with courtesy and respect. They answer all my question and concerns in a timely matter. I am grateful for all they do for me and my insurance needs! Thank you Dewanna and Staff !

1. There have been several young girls who come and go. The problem I've had with that is when I've called up or gone in with a question the answers have been very different. there's no consistency.

What kind of things do I mean when I say that the customer service is bad? Here's a few. And honestly.. just a few. (And again, it's not American Family - it's this office.)

I am new to Avon and also Indiana but have been a licensed Insurance broker for 50 years .Dewanna and her daughter and staff have done everything I asked and I've found a home with American Family!

I have been with dewanna they as a customer for 7 years. Since I was 18. I started out having renters insurance and full coverage on two cars. And over the last 5 years I never had a complaint. Like, hiccups would occur - because they are humans and life happens. But the last two years I've had horrible customer service. I coukd name a list. But I don't want to give American Family insurance the bad rep, its just this office and agency. Dewanna Moonyham agency.

2. I was in a parking lot, and I was hit by a young teenager pulling out of her spot. In no way is that my fault, and the police report showed that, and the girl took fault to it as well. It was not s bad accident. But it did put a dent in my 2016 Nissian Rouge. When two weeks had past I called in and spoke to Shawna, she works there and is also Deannas daughter. She's super sweet. But she had told the other girls insurance that the accident was my fault. That was a mess to solve. And it would have raised my rates, and I wouldn't take blame for that when it wasn't my fault, the police report said otherwise, and again.. the young driver took fault.

Good luck if you decide to go with this agency, and do not rely on them to give you correct information.
