Had to make quite a drive because of my insurance but it was well worth the drive. Everyone was super nice and efficient. I had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Mason who took her time and explained everything, but she also has a wonderful bedside manner. The wait time was very minimal and I was in and out in 45 minutes. As a nurse myself, I recognize winners and not so winners, and this facility is definitely a winner.
Terrible experience with NP, Dawn E Fairburn. I went after being sick for 6 days and was diagnosed by her as having an upper respiratory infection and bronchitis. She told me I needed “symptom management” and Flonase and she was going to write me a script to fill in three days if I wasn’t feeling any better. I told her I was frustrated because its to the point where the cough is so bad at night that I can’t sleep. She interrupted me and said “Are you going to let me finish before you jump all over me?!” I said I didn’t realize I was “jumping all over her” and let her finish, she did go on to say say she was going to write me a script to be filled right now for the URI which should help with coughing but that “people get sick” and at this point its not a bacterial infection. She went on to talk about “symptom management” and how I needed to continue the OTC medicine and increase my fluids. Her tone was extremely condescending and I felt the entire time she was talking to me like I was a child. After she finished, she said “Is there something you want to say? Go ahead…it won’t hurt my feelings.” I have never been treated this way as a patient. The rest of the staff was helpful and friendly but unfortunately, I will NEVER go to this immediate care office again.
Arrived on Saturday afternoon, not very busy. Been here before on several occasions and visits are usually pleasant. However during last visit front desk staff was not friendly, was greeted with "what do you need " instead of "hello may I help you" . The bulletin board explains how I should have been greeted as opposed to how I was actually greeted.
Great service, little waiting time, compared to other urgent care providers. Staff was friendly, reassuring and up to date with recent changes. If the situation isn't extremely critical, I will return for their services.
We have been coming here for years. I wish we never had to but, occasionally you need medical help. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We usually get seen fairly quickly but they can get busy. Can't blame them for that.
We usually see a Nurse practitioner or Physicians Assistant however there is a Doctor on staff. I recommend this Immediate Care.
